Rose Water

Rose water is usually produced by steam distillation of fresh rose petals. Rose water has a distinctive, sweet floral scent, often described as delicate and romantic. Its aroma may vary depending on the variety of roses used in the distillation process.
It is obainted by steam distillation of rose flowers in May.

The variety planted in Tunisia is the centifolia rose. The roses are picked in the morning and then the roses are distilled the same day to obtain good quality. The quality of Tunisian rose water is highly appreciated around the world. We export this product all over the world. Rose water is used in cosmetics as a care for the skin and especially the face. Also it is used in baking.
