Orange blossom water, also known as neroli water, is a fragrant substance obtained from the flowers of the orange tree, more precisely the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium). This white, delicately scented flower is used to extract the essential oil which forms the basis of orange blossom water.

Orange blossom water is widely used in the perfume and cosmetic industry due to its sweet and pleasant floral scent. It is also used in cooking, particularly in Mediterranean cuisine, to flavor various dishes and desserts.

This water is used in baking and in aromatherapy. Tunisian quality is highly prized all over the world. Orange blossom tree orchards cover 450 hectares in northern Tunisia.
